Top it with a tarp and you provide shelter from the elements for your horses. Camping with horses brings out the very best in people; but the stress of taking care of a horse away from home and their normal routine. Many people do not take advantage of all the camping possibilities available because of concerns for the well being of their horses. Picket lines work well for tying a horse; but can be worrisome when it comes to feeding. Hay nets require care and attention to keep the horse from becoming tangled in them and grain requires feed bags or ground feeders. The horse must be watered often, or simply spills water buckets left with them.
Why Standing Stalls?
Experience has shown that the safest way to confine horses in a small space is through the use of standing stalls.
